legalize sex trade

 

why should the sex trade should or shouldn't be legalized? 


personally I think it should be legalized, prostitutes of any kind really need to catch a break once in awhile. many men and women who are in the sex trade do it cause the need to, they need the money and you gotta do what you gotta do. 

legalizing the sex trade would actually improve the safety of sex workers with legal protection, access to health care (mental and physical) and safer working conditions making the violence toll go down. it would reduce trafficking and exploitation cause it would be easier to identify workers  if they go missing/ get put in trafficking rings. health care would be easier to get and they would have better health monitoring, annual STI testing and education which could help the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

      Andre Bamberski  Andre Bamberski suspected his daughters step father in her rape and ultimately her death. Bmaberski hired two men to kidnap the step father, Dieter Krombach, and take him to France to be prosecuted. the French courthouse sentenced Krombach to 15 years for "intentional violence that led to unintentional death." Andre Bamberski was sentenced to 3 years but only served a fraction of that.  the answer to whether it was justified is to be debated on one hand Andre was motivated by the strong desire for justice for his daughter who was so deeply wronged. the failure of the German legal system didn't help this situation at all either and his daughter not getting the justice she deserved could have clouded his judgement. Vigilantism undermines the rule of law. no matter how bad the crime, taking the law into one's hands can lead to further legal problems. in this case Bamberskis decision to kidnap Krombach was still illegal and did lead to him fa...

legalize drugs

  Personally I think only some drugs should be legalized, for example... Mushrooms - studies have proven that psilocybin can help with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and even addiction, with controlled usage. Its harder to abuse and get addicted to like other drugs.  MDMA - same as mushrooms it can be used to help with the same mental health disorders, it has a lower risk of overdosing and is safe in controlled environments.  Cocaine - it can be used for medical procedures and legalizing it would help it get off the black mark, prevent unsafe usage and ensure quality control.  Opioids - in controlled forms I can see how it can be okay.
